More Alphabet Coloring Pages
Activities for helping your child learn the alphabet:
- Pick a letter for each day (or week) and find pictures in magazines and such of different things that start with that letter. Help your child cut them out and glue them onto a plain piece of paper. Throughout the week go over the paper with the pictures naming the objects and making the letter sounds. Make an ABC's booklet with the pages that you and your child have completed and review it every now and then.
- Make use of the many ABCs picture books available to read with your child.
- Print out ABC coloring pages and have your child color them. Teach him/her the letter and sound as you go along, saving them to review again at a later time.
