Dragons have been referred to in literature throughout the ages. They are portrayed in a variety of ways by many different cultures.

They are often described as large, thick-scaled creatures who often breathe fire or have steam coming from their nostrils.

Today they are used art, as symbols, in movies, stories, and video games. They are sometimes portrayed as friendly creatures, such as in the tv show for little ones called "Dragon Tales".
